James and his twin friends Amber and Andrew are headed off on a fun-filled school trip across America, and not even the dark clouds above them could possibly dampen their spirits. With their combination of James and Amber's level-headedness and Andrew's zany sense of humor, what could possibly go wrong? Well...besides a giant robot attacking them and breaking their stuff, and being chosen to go on a journey to save the entire universe, what could go wrong? With the universe at stake, with paradoxes across all of space and time appearing and wreaking havoc on life as we know it, a mystery man watching their every move, a giant robot with a personal vendetta against them, and some help from a friendly custodian and his mysterious machine, this motley group of three friends definitely have their work cut out for them. If anybody has tips or ideas for me, they are very much appreciated. School leaver Dylan's life appears to be going nowhere. Working and gaming all summer really is as dull as it sounds. That is until everything changes when a UFO crashes into his house. Stupidly, he tries to pilot the bashed up UFO. With some daring manoeuvres, he successfully outruns the space police for a while. But within minutes of learning how to land, he's quickly arrested. With their amnesiator not working, the police take him to the post-dystopian human-inhabited planet known as New Mars. Of course New Mars with it's alien technology, it's people, it's creatures and everything else about it shouldn't exist. Highly impressed with Dylan's flying skills, the president of New Mars offers to release him and his friend Zac into the New Mars Academy. OK, it's not the most prestigious place to study but it's far better then having their memories erased before being dumped back on Earth. They're soon befriended by fellow misfits including mayhem making ladette and talented hacker 'mischievous' Maya, disturbed and angry girl 'crazy' Daisy with her dark mysterious past and likeable conspiracy theorist 'loony' Lauren. Together they must fight the return of the evil dictatorship before it can wreck the re-emerging New Martian society.
