This is a short story. I tried to remain as true to the story as I could, but all the characters are fictional. I was inspired mainly by a story I had stumbled across during my research about a soldier who was almost killed three times, severely burned, and almost drowned. Yet, this soldier still fought back with all he had and he survived. I hope you enjoy!
