Fractured Vows [PondPhuwin]

They were never in love.

Pond and Phuwin entered an arranged marriage five years ago with cold hands and colder hearts. What started as obligation slowly turned into silence, separate rooms, and a house that no longer felt like home. Divorce papers have been sitting unsigned on the table for months.

Then a 5-month-old baby was left at their door.

Niran doesn't care that his new guardians barely speak to each other. He only knows how to cry at 3 a.m., demand milk, and fall asleep on the chest of whoever is too exhausted to put him down. Suddenly the two men who perfected the art of avoiding each other are forced to share sleepless nights, trembling hands, and the terrifying responsibility of keeping a tiny life alive.

In the quiet hours between bottle feeds and arguments, old wounds reopen. Resentment turns into something sharper. Distance turns into something that hurts more than hate.

Because the hardest part isn't raising a baby with someone you no longer love...

It's realizing you never stopped.
