Sofie Rae isn't a story about becoming someone extraordinary.

It's about being twenty-something and trying to figure out what to do with an ordinary life.

After leaving Aurora, Colorado, Sofie settles into a little corner of Evergreen, surrounded by pine trees, mountain roads, coffee shops, old bookstores, and the kind of quiet she didn't realize she needed. She works, makes coffee, takes too many pictures, gets lost on purpose, falls apart sometimes, laughs too loudly, and tries to remember the little things worth keeping.

Her life isn't perfect.

Some days are lonely. Some nights feel heavier than they should. There are friendships that change, people she misses, dreams she's unsure about, and moments when she wonders whether she's really going anywhere at all.

But there are also sunsets.

Rainy drives.

Late-night conversations.

Thrift-store treasures.

Dogs she stops to pet.

Coffee shared with someone she loves.

Pages filled with thoughts she doesn't know how to say out loud.

And little moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

Told through diary pages, photographs, screenshots, receipts, playlists, text messages, social media posts, and pieces of Sofie's everyday life, Sofie Rae is less a traditional story and more like opening someone's old journal and spending a little time inside their world.

There isn't a grand adventure waiting around the corner.

There doesn't have to be.

Sometimes a life is worth telling simply because someone lived it.

And maybe, somewhere between the good days and the difficult ones, Sofie will learn that you don't have to have everything figured out to build a life that feels like home.
