Stray Humans: Part 2

It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. Long before the collapse, they began taking humans, but now, everyone knows who they are, and they fear them. The few who manage to return from their captivity tell stories of how these creatures treat humans like animals or children, tending to them like pets or slaves. Most survivors live in hidden communities, avoiding the ancient ruined cities at all costs.
But not Jace, his partner Lena, and their crew. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table.
Now that Jace, his father, and Bailey have returned home, it's time for all of them to face new problems and demons. Terrible extraterrestrial disease, traitors from the past, and new enemies who are a little too good at their jobs; Jace will not only have trouble continuing their mission to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near, but now also keeping his family together.

Now that Scarlet has escaped once more and somehow returned to Arthe, the A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) sends Solan and his team to return to the planet as well to hunt him back down.
But Solan has a lot more than the wild human occupying his mind. Can he find and take back the Scarlet human before someone discovers the raging illness eating him alive? And even if he can keep the secret, can he keep his position on this mission from a veteran replacement who is cloaked in mystery?
