Famous Figure: Musician
In 1983 Los Angeles, 5'3" aspiring illustrator Lucie Rose Nolin is just trying to pay rent, keep her sketchbook dreams alive, and survive the glamorous nightmare of wardrobe continuity. Then she lands a job near Michael Jackson. Lucie has no intention of being impressed. Unfortunately, Michael is polite, funny, impossible to ignore, and surrounded by people who act like correcting his socks is a matter of national security. When Lucie notices a dangerous mistake on set before anyone else does, she changes the course of his life before either of them realizes he's already changing hers. A slow-burn alternate-history romance about fame, loneliness, bad coffee, worse timing, and the tiny woman who accidentally becomes the most inconveniently honest person in Michael Jackson's world.

Michael Jackson is searching for someone to care for his children while preparing for another studio album. Not a nanny, a mentor. Y/n is overqualified, painfully ambitious, and far too arrogant to accept an ordinary job after graduating university. So when she discovers a private caregiving position with an absurd salary, she applies immediately. She expects spoiled children, an absent employer, and easy money. What she doesn't expect is Michael Jackson himself. And Michael quickly realizes the infuriating young woman he hired may be the only person in years who refuses to be intimidated by him.
