The Tip Jar Theory

College wasn't supposed to be this expensive.

Between overdue utility bills, ramen dinners, and an apartment their friends practically crowdfunded just to keep them off the streets, Denki Kaminari and Hanta Sero are somehow surviving adulthood together. Barely.

Working side by side at a tiny coffee shop keeps the lights on.. even if that means opening at six in the morning, dealing with impossible customers, and pretending the espresso machine aren't one bad day away from exploding.

It also means spending almost every waking moment together.

Everyone assumes they're dating.

The regulars leave bigger tips, old ladies call them "such a sweet young couple," and coworkers? They're in on it as well.

Because somewhere between shared shifts, split grocery bills, late-night study sessions, and falling asleep on opposite ends of the same couch, the line between best friends and something else starts getting harder to find.
