Violet West is an 18 year old girl who has to work her ass off to keep everything stable. Her school life may be fine but at home, she struggles as her dad died and her mom is always at work, so she has to raise her 3 other siblings with barely any help. During the day, she's doing everything she can to finish and get out of high school. Meanwhile, at night, she works at a club, waiting on people, wearing skimpy clothes, surrounded by drunken men. She didn't ask for her life to be this way, it's the only way she can get by. Except no one knows about this life of hers.

Now there's Jai Brooks. He's a total nerd. He's not never social, kind of shy. He's known as the brother of Luke Brooks, Violet's best friend. Jai isn't one to put himself out there, the definition of lame. However, one night, Violet runs into Jai. You'd think it was a normal encounter...Except for the part where Jai looks nothing like the nerd at school, instead he has tattoos covering his arms and the nicest clothes you'd ever see. Jai instantly recognizes Violet, not as the girl he sees at school all the time but as a girl wearing short skirts and crop tops with a bunch of drinks in her hand.
