Amelia is nine years old. She likes drawing, and she likes rabbits, and she decided to sign up for a summer camp to spend some time away from the people she knows, to be able to think without opinions from people she cares about.
Max is ten years old. He says he likes nothing, but he likes dogs, and he likes being left alone, and he was sent to a summer camp because his parents don't want to 'deal with him.'
Amelia is nervous around max. She thinks Max is mad at her.
Max is wary around Amelia. He thinks she's weird.
Amelia and max, at the end of the day, are better off at camp Campbell than they are in their homes.
