The Depths of Panem - Vol 2

(English version)

Six months have passed since Naia's victory at the 72nd Games. Six months spent waking up in the middle of the night screaming, with her mind still trapped in the Arena.

Her only refuge has become the isolated beach of District 4, where the cold of the sand and Finnick's warmth are the only things keeping her anchored to the ground.

But the price of wearing the Victor's crown soon proves to be much higher than death itself. Amidst the ruthless spotlight of the Victory Tour and the golden prisons of Capitol City, Naia discovers the reality that every victor is forced to face.

While Finnick fights in every way to spare her the weight of the 73rd Hunger Games, keeping her from the role of Mentor for her first year, President Snow's relentless pressure forces her to yield. At the 74th Games, Naia is forced to board the train alongside the boy, torn between the trauma of watching other children die in the Arena and the horror of having to keep selling herself on behalf of Capitol City.

Between the invisible chains of Snow's control and the despair of an impossible love, Naia and Finnick will witness together a spark destined to set Panem on fire: the victory of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.
