Malia Baker and Kylie Cantrall meet while working together on Descendants, expecting nothing more than a new friendship and a memorable experience on set.

At first, their relationship is simple. They become close friends almost effortlessly, bonding over rehearsals, long days on set, ridiculous inside jokes, and the strange experience of growing up in an industry where so many people are constantly watching. Kylie's outgoing personality helps Malia feel comfortable, while Malia's quieter, thoughtful nature gives Kylie someone she can genuinely trust.

As filming continues, their friendship becomes one of the most important parts of their lives.

But eventually, something begins to feel different.

Neither of them can quite explain when it happened. Maybe it was one conversation that lasted until far too late. Maybe it was the way they started looking for each other whenever they entered a room. Maybe it was realizing that a bad day somehow became better simply because the other one was there.

Neither girl wants to risk the friendship they treasure so much, so they both try to ignore the confusing feelings growing between them.

That becomes increasingly difficult as their lives outside the set begin changing, too.

The story follows Malia and Kylie as they navigate friendship, growing feelings, uncertainty, career pressures, and the fear of discovering that the person they trust most might also be the person who could hurt them the most.

There will be moments of laughter, awkwardness, jealousy, misunderstandings, quiet conversations, and memories they'll carry with them long after filming ends.

But at its heart, this isn't just a story about falling in love.

A friendship.

And sometimes, figuring out what that friendship has become is the hardest part.
