When Rohan Deshmukh leaves Nashik for his dream job in Mumbai, he finally finds what every newcomer wants-a place to call his own. Sunrise Residency is brand new, affordable, and almost empty. The only strange thing is that he's the only resident on the sixth floor.

Nineteen days after moving in, someone knocks on the door of an apartment that has never been occupied.

Every night.

As more families move onto the floor, the strange incidents multiply. Elevators stop where no one has pressed the button. Motion-sensor lights switch on for invisible visitors. The scent of incense drifts through empty corridors, and residents begin waking outside their own front doors with no memory of getting there.

When Rohan and his neighbors uncover the truth hidden beneath the building, they discover that Sunrise Residency wasn't built on empty land. It was built over a tragedy that Mumbai chose to forget.
