Finn and Fontaine are engaged. The hardest part should be over-except the wedding itself is still waiting just out of reach, and neither of them is especially good at waiting.

Between missions and the constant pull of the ocean, they steal every chance they can get to slip away alone in the Rover. Just the two of them, sealed inside the small submersible with nothing but the glow of the instruments, the soft hum of the engines, and the endless dark blue beyond the viewport.
