The Shape of Poor Decisions AKA: How to Accidentally Date a Serial Killer

Everyone in Haddonfield knows one thing:

If you see Michael Myers...

Run.

Unfortunately, nobody ever told Nia Brooks that.

Now there's a towering, silent man in a weathered white mask who keeps appearing outside her house, following her through town, and staring at her from suspiciously dramatic distances.

She's tried ignoring him.

She's tried talking to him.

She's tried asking him-very politely-to stop standing in her flowerbeds.

Nothing works.

Somewhere along the way, Nia makes a horrifying realization:

He's not stalking the neighborhood anymore.

He's stalking her.

...

This would probably be more concerning if she weren't ninety percent sure they're accidentally dating.

While the rest of Haddonfield is busy fleeing in terror, Nia is trying to figure out why her mysterious stalker keeps showing up whenever she bakes cookies, why he insists on silently standing in her kitchen instead of using the front door like a normal person, and whether it's socially acceptable to keep calling one of America's most infamous serial killers "Mike."

To make matters worse, Dr. Samuel Loomis-the man who has spent years trying to understand Michael Myers-is rapidly losing what little patience he has left after discovering that a twenty-two-year-old woman with a sarcastic mouth and an alarming lack of self-preservation somehow understands Michael better than he ever has.

Michael, for his part, has absolutely no comment.

He never speaks.

He never explains himself.

He simply keeps showing up.

Equal parts horror, romance, and complete nonsense, The Shape of Poor Decisions is a gothic romantic comedy where the world's most terrifying slasher remains every bit as frightening as legend claims...

...and somehow still ends up falling for the only woman in Haddonfield who looks at him, sighs, and says,

"Mike... you've got to stop breaking into my house. Use the front door like everyone else."
