The Ingalls had a desperate, long journey to the vast prairies of Kansas. Passing each night of jigs and Pa's fiddles, the community grows among the Osage land. As settlers touch, share, and gather around, arrogance was not the only concern that they've carried from the east.

With such a low stock of quanine, the town drowns in a horrible sickness. Pa, Ma, and Mary hit the sheets with dreadful fevers that prey upon Laura and Y/n who journey through chores and stubborn caretaking.

Despite the death-scare and continuous symptoms, little did Y/n know that such later soreness and ache would direct her into the arms of that young Osage man...
