Shadows and the Sun

A long time ago, the Divines created humans and angels. Humans- bringers of chaos and mayhem, and Angels- creatures of balance and harmony. They were seperated. the angels to abide by night, and the humans to abide by day, so their paths would never cross.
Thousands of years later, Liv Alabaster knew they must be separated, but she never really cared. Or knew why. She lived in her own world. A world of royalty and nobles, justice and peace.
She never thought her parents would betray that world.
At night, Adrian Dilure had his own problems too. Angels thrived in the sun. Not the shadow of night. As his father becomes sicker and sicker from lack of sun, he knows somehow he has to change the law.
