The last thing on Nola's list was to catch her now ex-boyfriend cheating on her in their shared apartment while on the same day losing her job. She now has to go live with her older brother ( using the term older loosely) until she can get back on her feet. To make matters worse, she'[s sharing the apartment with her brother's best friend, Rome. Hating the idea of sharing a pace with Rome is an understatement as Nola had to navigate her old feelings and new ones while sharing a space with the only man on earth she can't stand and the only man she's ever loved.

Nola is the last person Rome expects to see in his apartment. But when he does, he can't believe how much she's changes since the last time they saw each other. He knows that Nola doesn't like him and he plays into it to hide the feelings he's hidden from her for years. But seeing as she's just across the hall from him, it's gonna be hard to resist his temptation. But he has to because he doesn't want to break his best friend's trust.

But that's easier said than done.

When Nola's brother leaves the apartment leaving the two of them alone, tensions rise and the magnetic chemistry these two share will pull them in ways that make giving in seem just as dangerous as pulling apart.
