Nott, A Problem

Cassiopeia Malfoy has spent her entire life knowing exactly who she's supposed to be. As Draco Malfoy's younger sister and the daughter of two of the most respected pure-bloods in Britain, there's little room for mistakes, and certainly no room for questioning the beliefs she's been raised with. But fourth year at Hogwarts is different. With Umbridge tightening her grip on the school, Voldemort's return becoming impossible to ignore, and a secret invitation to Dumbledore's Army pulling her closer to people her family would never approve of, Cassiopeia is beginning to wonder if being a Malfoy means she has to become everything they're expecting her to be.

And then there's Theodore Nott. Her brother's best friend, her childhood rival, and quite possibly the most irritating person Cassiopeia has ever met. They've spent years trading insults and insisting they can't stand each other, but somewhere between late-night arguments, stolen glances, Christmas parties, and moments neither of them knows how to explain, something begins to change. As the wizarding world edges closer to war and the line between right and wrong becomes harder to see, Cassiopeia will have to decide who she wants to be, and whether the person standing beside her has been closer than she ever realized.
