Brooklyn "Brooke" Montgomery Maybank grew up on figure eight with everything a kook could ask for wealth, and privileges. Raised by her mother Molly Montgomery and her step father Harrison Montgomery. Living with her other older brother Grayson Montgomery.

She didn't care about the kook vs pogues, her friends and her brother was one, and she was one too. She doesn't care about what people thought about her and why she chose the pogues over the kooks. Her brother Jj maybank, they have always been close, always does stuff together, causing chaos. In her eyes jj was the most perfect brother. Even though they were raised differently, they both never stopped caring about each other.

Luke maybank her father wasn't the best man in the world, he would do drugs and drink a lot of alcohol. Sometimes he would take his anger out on jj and Brooke, but jj never known that because she knew he would kill him for that. She believed everyone needs a safe place to call home so she asked her mother but her mother refused only because she thinks it would cause drama with the kooks and damage the reputation of the family.

She realises that to her family they only care about status and appearances.

However Brooke has been keeping her secret herself. She been secretly dating rafe cameron, her best friend older brother. At first it was supposed late night drives down the beach, secretly meeting up but it turned in to something far more dangerous especially her being friends hating him. The constant rivalry between kooks and pogues makes it harder to have the relationship public. At first rafe was charming, and made her feel seen in ways no one else ever had. But slowly things began to change as he starts acting controlling.....
