THE PASTOR'S SON DIVINE

Divine.

Just the name alone makes the old women at Greater Hope clap their hands and say "that's a good boy." Pastor's son. Golden child. The one who opens the church doors before the sun even thinks about rising. Choir voice so smooth it could make a sinner cry. Med student. Top of his class. Own place. Own money. Never a hair out of line. Never a step out of bounds.

Everybody loves Divine. Everybody trusts Divine. Everybody thinks they know Divine.

But nobody really does.

There's a version of him that doesn't come out during Sunday service. Doesn't show up in any lecture hall. The one that exists in the dark, in the shadows, in the places nobody in his life would ever think to look. The one with urges that don't align with the Word. With secrets, fantasies so dirty they'd need more than holy water to wash clean.

The choir boy ain't singing the same song behind closed doors.

And the thing about secrets is... they always find a way out.
