A third-year rider in Basgiath War College and one of the marked children left behind after the Tyrrish Rebellion, Freya Haok serves as both Xaden Riorson's most trusted enforcer and one of the deadliest riders in the Riders Quadrant.

Raised in the frozen north of Tyrrendor, she learned to survive long before she learned to read. Quiet, disciplined, and terrifyingly efficient, Freya has earned a reputation for carrying out the tasks no one else is willing to do. Among the cadets she's known as "The Cold Woman"-a rider who never raises her voice, never hesitates, and never misses.
