When there's a catastrophic bio-containment breach that locks down a deep-space research station, a solitary Yautja hunter finds himself hopelessly trapped alongside the very prey he came to track: a brilliant human xenobiologist.

The scientist isn't just the creator of the mutated abominations stalking the halls but they are also the mastermind whose deadly traps previously wiped out a Yautja hunting party. Marked as an Intellectual Apex and sentenced to purge, the scientist now faces the executioner sent for their head.

But as radiation scrubbers fry the hunter's tech and the station's automated purges count down, execution turns to alliance. To survive the lethal facility and the monsters inside, the hunter must rely on the deadliest mind in the quadrant.....the very human he came to execute.

However, as the pathogen mutates, they quickly learn that escaping the facility won't just require raw force....

It will require trust.
