The Wave That Set Me Free

Sofia Moretti spent most of her life under her father's thumb, and later, her brothers'.

Her future was always decided for her. Where she would live, who she would marry, and what kind of life she was expected to have.

So when her brother tells her she has been arranged to marry, Sofia finally decides enough is enough.

She leaves everything behind and escapes to Australia, determined to build a life that belongs to her. For the first time, she gets to make her own choices. She gets her own home, her own job, her own friends and, most importantly, the freedom to decide what she wants for her future.

She's known James Lawson for years through Ciara, who is married to her brother Matteo. James is a carefree, cheeky professional surfer who has never been afraid to make his own decisions or live life on his own terms.

He's also the last person Sofia expects to fall for.

But as their friendship slowly becomes something more, Sofia begins to realise that choosing her own life doesn't mean she has to choose it alone.

She can choose where she belongs.

She can choose who she loves.

And for the first time, Sofia can choose her own future.
