Sloane, Kamazi, Nova, Zariyah, Kehlani, and Aloni were just six college students trying to make it through classes, assignments, and campus drama. Then one random school day, everything changed when a zombie outbreak spread across campus.
After fighting their way through the chaos, they finally find each other and decide they aren't splitting up again. Their only plan? Stay together and keep moving.

Now they're deep in the trenches abandoned neighborhoods, empty stores, underground tunnels, and anywhere they can hide long enough to make it to the next day. None of them know the first thing about surviving an apocalypse, and most of their plans are made up on the spot. Between arguing, joking around, and making the worst decisions at the worst times, it's a miracle they've made it this far.

But the longer they're out there, the more they grow into the people they need to be. They learn to trust each other, protect each other, and do whatever it takes to survive.
The world has gone completely off the rails, and every day in the trenches is another fight to stay alive. If they can survive this, they really might be the last ones standing.
