Indifference To Obsession

Leon Beste is a broken man. Heartbroken by his childhood friend, he sank into a life of escapism and lost his confidence, giving up almost entirely.

It's time to turn over a new leaf. Starting a new job at the illustrious Calford Corporation, Leon finds himself under the tutelage of a woman seemingly devoid of emotion. A cold, calculating office worker with a harsh reputation and the eyes of a stone cold killer.

The rumour is that the straight-talking Nicole Carter threatened her way to her position, but learning from the best, Leon knows better than to believe these accusations dripping in jealousy.

However, Leon's actions and inspired confidence slowly catches Nicole's attention. But is that really what he wants?

Is history doomed to repeat itself for Leon? Or will he get far more than he bargained for?

Stories are going to begin by being subsected into Leon's diary chapters and Leon's experiences throughout the story. Each chapter I write will be accompanied by a diary section that will give more context or backstory as the narrative unfolds. Diary sections will be notated with "Leon's diary" Whereas chapters themselves are numbered.

I will put the trigger warnings on each of the chapters, but this is meant to be a love story that will be referential to other media that employ similar tropes.
