There are places that change you forever. For Isabel Navarro, it was the Marine Corps.

Back in 2024, she enlisted in the Marine Corps believing hard work could earn her a place in the world. Boot camp was supposed to be 13 weeks of pain, discipline, and survival. Instead, she found a family in 100 strangers who became sisters, and she met Valeria Salazar, the brilliant recruit who seemed born to wear the uniform.
