headlock | mattheo riddle x reader

"I loathe every breath I'm forced to draw near you, Riddle" you spat, driving the silver blade straight through the shoulder of his blazer, pinning him to the stone wall.

Mattheo didn't flinch, his fingers wrapping tightly around your wrist. "Good" he murmured with cold contempt. "Because watching you suffer through every single one is the only reason I haven't snapped your neck yet."

"I'd like to see you bloody try" you snarled, pushing the blade a centimetre further into the wall, leaning in until your chest pressed against his.

Mattheo slammed his free hand against the wall beside your head, trapping you in his shadow. "Touch me again" he whispered against your lips. "See what fucking happens."

"I despise you" you breathed out, refusing to pull the blade back an inch.

"The feeling is entirely mutual" Mattheo replied, his eyes dropping to your mouth. His grip tightened around your wrist.

"Got your heart in a headlock?" he murmured, the ghost of a smirk tugging at his lips. "Funny. Doesn't look like you're trying very hard to get away." Both of you remained trapped in a bitter standstill, hating each other to the bone, yet incapable of pulling away.
