Ellie Rose Roberts is dead.

Which is inconvenient, because she had plans.

At twenty-six, she was supposed to grow old with Jonathan, drink wine with her friends, travel the world, and slowly turn the house they had just bought into a home. Instead, she died suddenly, woke up beside her own body, and became trapped somewhere between life and whatever comes next.

Seven months later, Jonathan is still grieving but he is also talking about leaving. Moving abroad. Starting over. And Ellie is not handling it well.

She can't touch him. She can't speak to him. She can't stop him from packing up their life and leaving her behind.
