They Said I Could See Souls is an emotional poem about living with epilepsy and being misunderstood by others. When people connect the illness with supernatural abilities, the speaker reflects on the real struggles hidden behind the label-seizures, hospital visits, medicines, fear, lost opportunities, and the pain of watching loved ones worry. The poem ultimately shows that the speaker's true strength is not the ability to see souls, but the courage to keep choosing life and moving forward despite every challenge.

See your papa is alright" he said, softly stroking her hair "N-no yo-you ar-are ly-lying y-you a-are no-not we-well" she said between hiccups ( No, you are lying, you are not well ) She hugged him tightly, like if she let go, he would disappear ❖ She looked at them in confusion, not understanding why they were laughing at her Mr. Handsome "Why are you all making fun of Mr. Handsome? You shouldn't do that, you all know Mr. Handsome is god's favorite" She said cutely, her lips forming into a pout "How do you know if he's god's favorite or not?" «شیار» بە نیازی تۆڵەسەندنەوە دەگەڕێتەوە بۆ ژیانی «بێری» کچی ئاغا. بەڵام کاتێک نھێنییەکی پیرۆز بە ناوی «شەن» لە نێوانیاندا ئاشکرا دەبێت، هەموو هاوکێشەکانی تۆڵە تێکدەچن و ڕابردوو و داهاتوویان دەخاتە بەردەم تاقیکردنەوەیەکی کوشندە.
