This is a story I wrote for a uni project, it's a dark exploration of identity, self-identity and trauma (?) using the writing technique known as "Magical Realism". magical realism is a term that refers to a specific form of writing a narrative, a way to discuss/explore reality in an alternate, almost abstract kind of way. It is kind of like using symbolism, allegories and metaphors to explore its concept.
