Fourteen years ago, the sky split. The Starfall left kingdoms in ruin, reshaped the land, and marked thousands of victims with gifts that would become their greatest curses. Though the world has begun to rebuild, the wounds have never truly healed. Not yet.

Vaelis has spent those fourteen years hidden from the world, locked away. Haunted by visions of another realm and hunted by a fate she cannot escape, her first taste of freedom ends with a promise that will steal what little life remains hers.
