This is a story of a girl. She doesn’t save the world, or stop the evil forces of a dystopian government. She just follows a desperate quest to find her family and learns the truth behind friendship.

After being separated from her family during the bombing, Rebecca follows a desperate quest to find them again, but is she prepared to find out the truth behind her life, to lose people, and be betrayed by the ones she trusted. Will she ever find her family again, and will she want to?

“I’ve started to feel like what I’m trying to achieve is like chasing the stars; romanticised, yet horrifically saddening.”

They say hope is the last thing to lose. If you lose hope, you lose everything. Anyone who loses their faith, their reason, also loses their soul. This is the story of how Nadine clung to her only hope: to find her family safe and sound. A strange anomaly of the human mind swept the world, and she was alone, with very few clues about the whereabouts of her family. She had to be brave and confront those who had already lost everything. What she didn't know was that chaos had already spread worldwide. Entire cities destroyed, families lost, and the faith of the few who still stood slowly fading away. Replaying the images of her loved ones over and over in her mind, she will have to face those who have lost their hopes, turning into violent beings with a thirst to destroy everything around them, including themselves.
