Samara thought that all slave buyers were mean because of the ones who bought her but always brought her back to where the owners bought her. She thought that they all were the same but that's when she was bought by a slave owner, Iah Bomani. Iah was not that much older than Samara but knew that he had to have her. Samara puts up a fight trying to get him to take her back just like the previous owners but Iah was different. He was patient but overall loving towards Samara. They eventually fall in love but the worse has only yet to come if anybody found out about their forbidden love.
