Beyond the Spotlight

The massive black iron gates of the Kim Mansion slowly slid open as five matte black SUVs drove inside one after another.The estate was nothing short of breathtaking. The mansion itself looked more like a palace than a home, its white marble walls glowing beneath the afternoon sun.The vehicles came to a halt.

One by one, the members of Black Shield Security stepped out.Jeon Jungkook.Kim Namjoon.Min Yoongi.
Kim Seokjin.Jackson Wang.All five silently observed the estate they would be protecting for the next six months.

"So this is where Kim Taehyung lives..." Jackson muttered under his breath.Before anyone could say another word-The distant roar of an engine echoed through the estate.Everyone instinctively turned.

A sleek black Rolls-Royce sped through the open gates before smoothly stopping in front of the mansion."The client's here," Namjoon said.A bodyguard quickly opened the rear door.

Kim Taehyung stepped out.

At that exact moment-A woman suddenly broke past the outer security gate.Ignoring every guard chasing after her, she sprinted across the driveway toward Taehyung."Kim Taehyung!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.Security rushed after her.

"Stop her!"But she shouted again before anyone could catch her. "Answer me! Are you gay?"Everything happened within seconds.Without even looking at anyone, Taehyung reached beside one of his personal guards, snatched the pistol from its holster, raised it-

Bang! The gunshot echoed throughout the entire estate. The woman let out a terrified scream as she barely escaped, stumbling backward before running for her life.The entire mansion fell deathly silent.Jungkook moved before anyone else.

In one swift motion, he grabbed Taehyung's wrist, twisted it just enough to disarm him, and pulled the gun away. "Mr. Taehyung, you shouldn't-"

SLAP!

The sharp sound echoed across the driveway. Jungkook's head snapped to the side.This was only their first meeting.
