"You know," I sighed, adjusting my gloves, "most people say hello before trying to punch me."

"Most people don't break into museums after midnight."

I looked up. There he was. Red. Blue. Balanced upside down on a web as if gravity had decided to make an exception just for him.

I couldn't help but smile.

"You know," I said, tilting my head, "hanging like that can't be comfortable."

"And stealing is illegal."

His eyes- well, the white lenses on his mask never left mine.

"Only if you get caught."

He sighed.

"Can you take this seriously for five minutes?"

"Can you stop interrupting my evening for five minutes?"

With one effortless swing, he landed between me and the exit.

"You're not going anywhere."

I slowly looked him up and down before letting out a quiet laugh.

"You superheroes really love dramatic entrances."

"Who are you?"

I took a step forward. Then another. Close enough that I could hear him breathe.

"That's an awfully personal question for a first date."

"This isn't a date."

"Shame."

I jumped onto the nearest rooftop. Before disappearing into the night, I glanced over my shoulder one last time.

"See you around..." I smirked. "Spidey boy."
