Night Blossom

Taken from the Southern Water Tribe at nine years old, Yuka spends six years trapped in enemy hands before finding unexpected kindness in Prince Zuko and his uncle, Iroh. They become the closest thing she has to family, until fate tears them apart for three long years. When Yuka finally reunites with Zuko, the gentle boy she remembers seems to be gone, replaced by an angry, banished prince obsessed with capturing the Avatar-but when danger finds her again, Zuko is still the one who saves her. Now traveling beside Zuko and Iroh, Yuka has no idea that the Avatar they are hunting is traveling with the family she lost long ago: her twin brother, Sokka, and her little sister, Katara.

Caught between her lost family and the people who once saved her, Yuka must discover where she truly belongs. Iroh, thankfully, hasn't changed at all and quickly takes his former ward beneath his wing again, determined to guide both her and his stubborn nephew-and perhaps do a little matchmaking along the way. Once friends, then strangers who almost seem like enemies, Yuka and Zuko slowly begin finding their way back to each other. But this time, friendship may not be where their story ends.
