Maya is going into year 9. She is sick, cancer, she is terrified of dying, she doesn't know much about her illness her parents don't tell her much. She had friends and family, a life that wasn't controlled by being sick. She still goes to school sometimes, she is in teenage dramas, she learns, she loves. She watches her family fall apart and says goodbye to her friends. She knows deep down she is dying, she needs everyone to believe that she believes they will be ok.
