On a dark and stormy night

Jina and Kief had been best friends for more years than they could remember, having been living together for over a year in a small, cozy apartment where each of them had their own rooms, but they never were apart. Since both were very touchy, and affectionate, no one was surprised that they both often cuddled together, sometimes ending up sleeping in one bed in each other's room. They even held hands often in public or gave each other happy little friendship kisses, but just never on the lips.
There was nothing they couldn't tell the other, openly talking about anything. And having lived in each other's back pocket for so long, they knew everything about the other, never keeping any secrets from the other....except for one...
