The Truth of Merfolk

On land, merfolk were known as extinct, to the point where humans thought they were just fictional beings. Though, the stories and old ruins described beautiful creatures of the water. They were known for their mystically reflective scales, while still being half-fish with an upper human body.

Despite their known beauty, they have supposedly gone extinct. That is, until a certain group of energetic pirates found themselves something they would never forget, and it was far from the myths.

Just so you know, this is a fantasy pirates MHA AU, meaning there will be magic users, humans, pirates, and other fictional creatures.
