Night Walker

Night Walker is a post-apocalyptic coming-of-age survival story that follows Soyer, a sixteen-year-old boy who spent most of his life alone inside an abandoned zoo after the world collapsed. Raised by observation rather than people, Soyer understands animals far better than human nature. When the last of the zoo's creatures disappear, he is forced to venture into a ruined world he barely recognizes.
His first days outside are filled with confusion, loneliness, and danger. While scavenging an abandoned gas station, Soyer encounters a terrifying creature known as a Nocturnal and narrowly survives after crashing an old car to escape. Injured and close to death, he is rescued by Tyler, another sixteen-year-old survivor who has spent the last year learning the brutal rules of the outside world.
At first suspicious of one another, the two boys slowly form an unlikely partnership. Tyler teaches Soyer how to survive among monsters and desperate people, while Soyer's quiet honesty and innocence begin to chip away at the walls Tyler built after losing his family. Together they search for food, shelter, and hope in a landscape filled with abandoned towns, hidden dangers, and creatures that hunt after dark.
