Simra Khan needed a life. That was dramatic, because she did have a life. She woke up, went to the caffe near her house, went to work and was incharge of drama club on Tuesdays and Fridays. After that, she goes home to her three cats and watches Brooklyn 99 or Criminal Minds for a few hours and goes to sleep. So she really needed a life outside of work. Simra realised that she was pushing 30 and had not gone on a single date since January.
At first, she tried to justify it by saying that she was new at the whole teacher thing and needed to ease into everything before she started making huge changes to her life... but that was three years ago.
So, she decides to shake her life up by changing her regular coffee shop to a cafe closer to the school. That is where she meets Trinity Santos. The med student working as a barista to pay her med school bills. Suddenly, Simra found herself going to the cafe during lunch way more.
