Izuku Midoriya wasn't born to be a hero. He wasn't even born normal. A natural-born psychopath with an IQ over 220, he spent his youth terrorizing Japan under the infamous moniker of "The Japan Strangler." But when Detective Mike Norris and the police back him into a corner inside a Hosu toy store, Izuku refuses to go to hell. Using an ancient Voodoo chant taught to him by a dark master, he transfers his dying soul into the nearest vessel available: a mass-produced Good Guy talking doll. Reborn as "Chucky," Izuku realizes that being two feet tall and made of plastic won't stop his murderous rampage-it just makes him craftier. But as his doll body starts becoming human, he realizes he needs a new host body before he's trapped forever. And he has his sight set on a six-year-old boy named Andy Barclay. Chucky's Reign Murder Spree is Just Beginning.........

To step between dimensions, they said, was to court madness. It was to let every truth you ever believed liquefy, then re-set in a shape that made no sense to the past version of yourself. Orochimaru knew this and relished it. To him, the fear was part of the lure, the closer he got to the unspeakable, the more his mind danced at the edge. But even he hadn't expected Ninkasa. Ninkasa. Every child and archivist alike whispered her lineage: daughter of a demon, offspring of a goddess, the tightrope walker between all things forbidden and all things luminous. Her past was less a secret than an invitation to speculate; the real mystery was how she wore her contradictions so gracefully. She could talk prophecy and destruction with the same candor she used to discuss tea. No matter how often she was underestimated, she let people keep their illusions, until she didn't. Maybe that was what drew Orochimaru. Not the prophecy, not the hunger to unseat the ancient, but the presence of a mind so clear, so uncompromising, that every time he crossed swords (literal, verbal, otherwise) with her, he felt the world ring like a bell. This was what it meant to balance power with power: not destruction, but a sudden, intimate clarity. For all the noise, for all the rumors of cataclysm, the real threat was how similar they were, how easily one could slip into the other's rhythm. And maybe it was just what happens when you push two contradictions together and wait for the explosion.
