Maddie thought moving back home would be the hardest part of her life.

At twenty-three, she's dropped out of college, moved back into her childhood bedroom, and taken a dead-end job at the town's biggest supermarket, where every shift is filled with impossible customers, awkward coworkers, and the nagging feeling that everyone else has their life together.

Then the dead start walking.

When a mysterious outbreak turns shoppers into bloodthirsty monsters, the supermarket becomes ground zero for a desperate fight to survive. Trapped inside with a group of coworkers she'd never have chosen to spend time with, Maddie must navigate collapsing friendships, impossible choices, and the terrifying realization that the living can be just as dangerous as the undead.

As the shelves empty, supplies run low, and trust begins to fracture, escaping the store may be their only chance. But outside, the entire world has become a nightmare and every decision could mean life or death.
