One Last Summer With You

After surviving an accident she can't remember, nineteen-year-old Ness is sent away from the city to recover in her grandparents' quiet town where life moves slower than the one she left behind in the city.

Then she meets Cen.

Cen always seems to appear exactly when she needs him, as though he already knows the questions she's afraid to ask. With him, the unfamiliar town begins to feel like home, and the empty spaces in Ness' heart become a little easier to carry. Yet the closer they grow, the stranger everything becomes. The townspeople barely seem to notice him. He never speaks about his past. Cen just simply exists like a wallflower, as what Ness would've quoted.

Troubled by the unsettling feeling she couldn't shake, Ness returned to the city in search of the memories she'd lost, unaware that the truth waiting for her would change the way she remembered love, loss, and the summer she thought had only just begun.
