Peter Parker x OC as platonic soulmates
After Doctor Strange's spell at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the world forgets Peter Parker ever existed. Everyone loses their memories of him, leaving Spider-Man as a hero without a name or a past.
But Josephine "Jo" May Bennett remembers something she was never supposed to know.
Jo is a student in New York who has always experienced strange moments of intuition, but after the spell, her dormant mutant abilities awaken. She begins having vivid dreams that feel less like dreams and more like forgotten memories trying to return. In them, she sees a boy named Peter and moments she has no recollection of living.
The terrifying part is that they feel like memories.
Jo doesn't know Peter. She has never met him.
When she finally meets Peter, she recognizes him immediately. Peter, however, sees her as a stranger.
As Peter tries to rebuild his life alone, Jo tries to uncover the truth from the life before.
Both struggle to understand the evolving powers they hold.
