[2016]: At fifteen, Riley Stark's life is pretty great. She gets to train with the Avengers while finally enjoying real freedom. Her powers are aligned with her body, and she's more than ready for her first mission. Until her father explains the lengths of it: in order to keep an eye on Peter Parker and his alter ego Spider-Man, she will have to leave her bubble and fulfill the undercover identity of a normal highschooler.

Riley is thrown into a life full of hormones, teenagers and awkward interactions she never trained for. And on top of it all, like the cherry on top, Peter Parker also has the audacity to make her blush.

FLASH FORWARD TEN YEARS...

[2026]: At twenty, Riley Stark is stuck. The better world she once knew is gone, and with it went almost everyone she loved. She has abandoned her powers, her friends, and the hope that she'll ever belong anywhere again. Still, she can't leave New York City behind. There is a black hole in her chest, sucking all her emotions into itself. Her heart is broken, and she doesn't know why.

Then, she meets someone. A gloomy, very friendly someone who causes her heart to beat in a rhythm it clearly needs in order to survive.
