April And The Clockmaker's Secret

April and the Clockmaker's Secret

Fourteen-year-old April Everhart has spent four years wondering why her parents disappeared without a trace.

On her tenth birthday, they vanished.

No explanation. No goodbye. Just silence.

Then, one ordinary afternoon in the coastal town of Bellhollow, April discovers an alley that wasn't there the day before-and a mysterious clock shop hidden at the end of it.

Tempus & Co.

Inside, an eccentric clockmaker is waiting for her.

He gives April a broken pocket watch that once belonged to her mother. But this isn't an ordinary watch.

It can stop time.

And every time April uses it, she uncovers another piece of the truth about her parents.

With the help of Theo, a boy who can remember the moments that time tries to erase, April begins following a trail of forgotten clues, secret societies, strange echoes, and creatures that feed on stolen moments.

But the closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous the mystery becomes.

Because her parents didn't simply disappear.

They chose to leave.

And now, whatever they were trying to protect is coming for April.

Sometimes the past is worth finding.
Sometimes it's better left behind.
And sometimes... time itself is hiding a secret.
