Book 1: The Calculating Nightmare| Wednesday Adams

Deemed a dangerous, uncontrollable liability by the elite werewolf pack of San Francisco, sixteen-year-old Elisabeth Elise Sinclair is banished mid-semester to Nevermore Academy. Unlike her bright, high-energy younger sister Enid, Elisabeth's supernatural abilities skipped traditional lycanthropy entirely, mutating into a lethal form of psychic manipulation and waking sleep paralysis. She is the family's hidden shame-the literal "Nightmare." Assigned to Ophelia Hall, Elisabeth is dropped into a volatile social landscape between her overprotective sister and her cynical new roommate, Wednesday Addams. While the rest of the student body cowers from the new Sinclair legacy, Wednesday views Elisabeth as a dangerous variable that needs to be calculated and contained. But as local gruesome murders threaten the academy and push Elisabeth's protective instincts to the brink, the two sharpest, darkest minds in the room realize they are far more lethal as allies than enemies. To save her found family, Elisabeth must stop hiding her mutations and teach Nevermore exactly what happens when you confuse her patience for weakness.
