As the Kook, she has everything others can only envy. Money, a famous last name, a beautiful home, and a life that looks perfect from the outside.

JJ Maybank has nothing but chaos. He's the exact opposite of Riley. Impulsive, unpredictable, and always one step away from getting into more trouble. He hates the Kooks, especially those who act as if the whole world belongs to them.

So, of course, Riley and JJ can't stand each other. Or at least that's what they tell themselves. Because the more time they spend together, the harder it is to ignore the glances, the accidental touches, the late-night conversations, and that annoying realization that the person you should hate the most is starting to know you better than anyone else.
