Kaira Tomoru is the beautiful, untouchable boy everyone at Binan High School finds intimidating. Quiet, reserved, and seemingly uninterested in everyone around him, he has carefully crafted an ikemen appearance that keeps people at a distance.

But his perfect face is a lie.

Every morning, Tomoru spends an hour applying makeup to hide the insecurities he refuses to let anyone see. To him, maintaining his appearance isn't vanity. It's survival.

And then there's Minami Takumi.

Takumi is everything Tomoru wishes he could be: effortlessly handsome, naturally charming, and universally loved. No matter how messy his hair gets, how wrinkled his uniform becomes, or how much he sweats during basketball practice, he somehow remains perfect.

Takumi follows, expecting to find the same cold, intimidating boy everyone knows.

Instead, he finds someone completely different.

And his first reaction isn't disgust.
